Zbigniew Kaczmarek , born in Warsaw (Poland) in 1973, creates under the artistic alias ZB The.Kaczmarek. His means of expression are drawings and photography.

 

ZB minimalism—the “less is more” principle—permeates his photographic works.

While visual details and their context add depth and complexity, the fragmentation and simplicity of elements bring out their abstraction. The viewer's perception shifts from specific, functional objects to the perception of universal forms and lines. The subjects of his photographs are often architecture,

vintage cars and nature.

 

ZB’s drawings reflect his fascination with the “sculpted” beauty of the male body. Their subjects—often nude, partially clothed, seductive—celebrate the world of sensuality while avoiding vulgarity and pornography. The lines of the drawings are simple, minimalistic and unfinished, as if they came from void, imagination or ethereal longing. Sometimes they are enriched with color washes and fills,

and their variable fullness seeks perfect contour and elegance.

 

When not creating art, ZB discovers the world, rides long distances on his gravel bike, takes care of his body, soul and his two adorable cats: Gabba and Rysia.
